Great satisfaction with the 7th Forum Il Nuovo Club
The congress-exposition kermis of Il Forum Il Nuovo Club, the main Italian business to business event of formation and adjournment for professional operators in the fitness, wellness and aquatic sector, was a big success. This is an affirmation that confirms the validity of the Forum formula, a unique event in Europe for its original organizational characteristics which support the formative mission with an emotional component that stimulates the learning of participants and the general atmosphere (an example is the experience of the mini-concerts opening the sessions). Altogether in a “networking” context –that is, the possibility of laying out a network of relationships among participants, speakers and companies that favour personal enrichment.
The event covered three intense days rich with high level appointments that included the participation of over 700 accredited operators (many of them foreigners!) at the 29 congress sessions and more than 2,500 visitors to the Trade Show of 87 exhibiting companies (+34% respect to the 2005 edition). In addition to the increase in numbers, the success of the show was tangible for those who participated in terms of satisfaction in session content and completeness of the exposition area, an opportunity for many companies to present new products in national preview.
The large exhibition showcase of the Trade Show attracted even a larger number of visitors this year, registering more than a national flow of people. In fact, the 2006 exhibition-which by itself was worth a visit to the Forum- further reinforced and articulated its offer, proving to be the most complete showcase, distinguished and qualified for professionals who operate in the sector, as well as managers and entrepreneurs of realities that are becoming more integrated with fitness like tourism, recreation and thermal facilities.
From facility design to services to furnishing components and beauty: buyers of sport, aquatic, spa and wellness centers had the opportunity to view the best, often in national preview, for each marketing category. In addition, visits to the stands allowed participation of numerous meetings with the free entrance, organized in collaboration with companies and associations, thus enriching the experience of visitors.
Brilliant and rich with ideas for reflection: this is how participants described the General Session “For a more healthier fitness” which opened the Forum with an exacting and stimulating confrontation by Michele Carruba , president of the Italian Society of Diet and Sport , Lucia Guidarelli , General Hygiene Management of Diet and Nutrition of the Ministry of Health and Michelangelo Tagliaferri , president of the Communication Academy in Milan.
The General Session shined among other “stars” in the Forum, specifically, among foreign speakers like the great Jim Annesi and Casey Conrad . The American professional, with the session “Motivate Retention” and all day the seminar “Coach Approach” galvanized the auditorium, teaching participants, step by step, the application of a true protocol to motivate clients in a club to stick to a work out program.
ow to win overweight clients with an ad hoc program and how to get in contact with new potential clients through referrals of existing clients.
Among the most admired speakers, Roberto Tiby , with his usual verve and close examination, confronted Retention, offering objective and scientific data on Customer Satisfaction, an important element in client retention, and therefore, company profitability. A truly appreciated session that concluded with a standing ovation!
It's impossible to summarize all the events that took place, but we'd like to cite the new entry of Targeting and the Beauty, Wellness and Spa course. For Targeting, Roberto Coda Zabetta and Gianluca Nardone introduced to participants an innovative topic of the great Eurisko Map and the analysis of lifestyles as concrete tools for personalizing the typology of services.
In the session of “Spa Business” Daniele Cantoni offered an examination and very applauded analysis on diverse typologies of wellness centers, with concrete tools for evaluating how and when a spa becomes an economic success for a club.
Confirming the academic content and the elevated interest in the sessions of Aquatic Management Congress, reference point for all professionals in the sector, were: Lionello Ambrosi , Paolo Delicato and Vincenzo Spica who stood out-among others- for a complete and punctual panorama on the aspect of legislation and regulations, sanitary safety and politics of the market.
Sponsors not only of the show but also energetically inside the show, Panatta Sport and Technogym , this year as well, collaborated with the realization of the Project Golden Sponsors: four sessions based on project planning, scientific and organizational experience of the two companies.
Finally, a new addition that had the most success in this edition of the Forum: The Technical Workshops dedicated to instructors and personal trainers , organized in collaboration with FIF and Issa Italy. For the first time, the principle associations and personalities from the technical and formative sector met and confronted, putting their own experience and competence before an attentive audience. A success for the Forum that became a treasure that will definitely expand in the next edition.
Did you miss something in the Forum? Were you unable to participate? Do you want to learn more? There's no problem: the sessions were videotaped and the Forum Notebooks will soon be available in digital format.
